lonely silly man...

that's how I (Andrew) feel as I spend my two (ridiculously inadequate) hours each week in the lab editing. slow and sure progress. We had to recapture clips and start from new timecode this time around. The good news? much easier the second time around. The bad news? This may be the death of me.

you're *still* trying?!

Andrew and Christopher are editing again, hoping to use ADR and in-camera sound.  Script has been cut to 15 minutes.  All equipment is up and running, but realism and a long haul prevent them from projecting any completion dates.  All other post-production tasks (graphic design, marketing, music direction) have been put on hold until a rough copy is complete.

accidents happen?!?!

The college radio station staff "accidentally" throws away INDEPENDENT STUDY digital sound.  Zac's arms and Sam's arms countless hours of boom-sticking are LOST!  More emotional damage.

A year? Gone?

Tech problems with equipment are solved just in time for school to start -- Andrew goes back to teaching, Christopher leaves for Ireland, Katie leaves for Los Angeles.  The project sits in limbo.

FRIED

Project is more than halfway edited when a college student (not involved in the project) plugs the wrong cord into the hard drive.  The hard drive is fried.  All work must be completely redone. Morale is low.

is an end in sight?

Editing continues at a snails pace. Most people involved with the project are busily involved in new projects and unsure of what the new projections for completion are.

surprises...

Editing is taking longer than projected. No one on board the project has edited anything of this magnitude before, and each step is a surprise.
